Mobility partner for three markets

2020

PS-Team Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG changes its name to PS Team GmbH on April 1, 2020. The subsidiary PS Digital Services AG completes the portfolio with pre-configured SaaS (software as a service) products. Marco Reichwein becomes the new managing director and steers the company together with Heinz Moritz and company founder and owner Peter Schmehl.

2019

PS-Team opens subsidiaries in France (Paris) and Warsaw (Poland), driving the international expansion independently of the licensing business.

2018

In March 2018, PS-Team successfully passes the ISO 27001 certification. This makes the process service provider one of the pioneers in the industry, offering customers a high level of assurance that the requirements of the new European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are also met.

2017

Denis Herth, Head of the IT & Innovation business unit, moves up to the management board in July 2017.

2016

The business units Fleet, Financial Institutions and Manufacturer are introduced. Carsten Schäfer is called to the management as Director of the business unit Fleet and Frank Schottenheim as Director of the business unit Financial Institutions. Managing director Heinz Moritz provisionally takes over management of the business unit Manufacturer.

Eric Wirtz, longstanding Sales Manager at PS-Team, is called to the management board as Director International Sales.

 

2015

The process service provider offers FloorChecks of vehicles as well as inventory checks for machines and other high-priced assets.

2013

PS-Team is a founding member of the national E-government competence centre (Nationales E-Government Kompetenzzentrum; NEGZ).

2011

Heinz Moritz enters the management. Peter Schmehl increasingly focuses on development of the European business.

2010

PS DataCollect, the asset register for protection against multiple and fake financing of vehicles and other high-quality assets, is created.

2008

Peter Schmehl expands the company structure by introducing business units.

2007

Mobility has a new home: PS-Team moves into its current headquarters in Walluf, Am Klingenweg 6, where it sets up a globally unique computer-controlled embossing press for vehicle license plates.

2006

The system solution PS Inspect is put on the market.

2004

PS-Team is the largest document trustor in Germany.

2001

PS-Team receives the quality certificate ISO 9001.

2000

The PS Rent and PS Logic products are created.

1997

PS-Team develops a fleet control module to process the entire fleet control for Europcar.

1996

PS-Team takes over the total inventory of vehicle certificates of a leasing company. For this, PS-Team sets up a strong room with alarm system and direct connection to the police. PS-Team sets safety standards for document keeping.

1995

Further services for leasing companies and car rental companies, such as order control and delivery date monitoring, are developed.

1993

PS-Team is the first company in Germany to offer leasing companies and large fleets centrally controlled vehicle registrations via more than 400 registration offices in the country.

1992

PS-Team processes 120,000 registrations per year. Sixt and Europcar have their entire fleets centrally registered via the process service provider.

1989

International car rental service AVIS charges the service provider with up to 3,500 registrations per day – a volume that was unimaginable before. PS-Team manages by combining optimised logistics processes with electronically prepared documents for the registration office.

1988

PS-Team is the largest registration service in Germany, supporting a large number of car dealers.

1986

Peter Schmehl founds PS-Team Peter Schmehl OHG, later PS-Team Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG, in Wiesbaden. The business idea behind it: reducing the time expenditure for vehicle registrations for car dealers and individuals.
